Ask any doctor what the most important factors are to maintain good health and they will likely respond: Healthy Diet and Regular Exercise.
For over 20 years we have provided quality home health services to people allover south Florida and our duties include helping people with both those important goals. We also provide common household help and companionship as well as advanced nursing care for patients with serious medical treatment requirements. Often people get sick when there are signs of a lack of good nutrition or not enough exercise and our staff is trained to observe these signs. We work closely with our patient’s physicians and other medical care professionals to maintain progress towards our planned goals.
While there is not really a meaningful “fall” in south Florida, temperatures do drop enough where getting outdoor exercise becomes more enjoyable. Walking is prescribed very often as a way to get the muscles moving and we have personnel who can help with that activity.
Many south Floridians are originally from the north and while our trees don’t turn amber and yellow, it is nice to decorate with traditional autumn colors and prepare foods and beverages that are associated with the months of October through December. A commitment to both physical and emotional health is at the top of our to-do list for every patient in we care for.
If you have a friend or family member who needs someone to look in them on occasion, or needs everyday care, we would be happy to speak with you about developing a plan that will give you peace-of-mind and will work into a budget that is comfortable. The first step is to call us at 561-210-9096
